Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as account registration details (name, email address, password), company profile information, and communication preferences. We also collect usage data including pages visited, search queries, and interactions with listings.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve our services, authenticate your account, send transactional emails (account verification, password reset), display relevant company and product listings, and analyse platform usage to improve our services.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Company profile information (name, address, phone, website) that you publish is visible to all platform visitors. We may share information as required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse platform usage. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling cookies may affect platform functionality.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls to protect your personal information.

Contacts and the «My acquaintances» tab

The TMTrade mobile app has an optional «My acquaintances» tab. It shows businesses from the TMTrade catalogue whose phone numbers are saved in the contacts on your phone.

• What is read. The names and phone numbers in your contacts. The app reads them only after you tap «Continue» on the explanation screen and allow access in the system permission prompt. Your contacts are never read in the background.
• Where the matching happens. On your phone. The app downloads the list of business phone numbers from the TMTrade catalogue and compares it with your contacts on the device itself.
• What is sent to us. Only the identifiers of the matched businesses, so that their cards can be loaded with up-to-date information. This request is not linked to your account. Your contacts, phone numbers and contact names are never sent to TMTrade and never leave your phone.
• What we store. Nothing. We do not store your contacts or the list of matched businesses, neither on our servers nor on your phone. The app only remembers whether you turned this feature off.
• Why. Only to show you businesses you already know. This data is not used for advertising or analytics and is not shared with the businesses or with anyone else.
• How to turn it off. In the «My acquaintances» tab choose «Disable and delete data»: the app stops checking your contacts. You can also withdraw contacts access at any time in the settings of your phone.

Deleting your TMTrade account and data

In the TMTrade app: Profile → «Hasaby pozmak» / «Удалить аккаунт» (Delete account) → confirm. The account is deleted immediately.

Without the app: email info@trade.com.tm from the email address linked to your account, or state the phone number linked to it, with the subject "Account deletion". We will delete the account within 30 days and reply to you.

To delete only some data (for example messages or followed companies) without deleting your account, send the same email and say what should be deleted.

What is deleted: your account and profile data (name, email, phone), sign-in data, followed companies and bookmarks.

What may be kept longer: payment records, for as long as the law requires; companies you own, until they are transferred to another owner or deleted at your request.
