The company was founded in November 2016 and since that time has been actively cooperating with Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd., providing security for facilities. We also provide services to the population for maintenance, car wash and teahouse services. Since 2021, we have received  permit to fish in the Caspian Sea. Along with this, we conclude agreements with foreign countries on wholesale trade.

Open Joint Stock Company "Hazar Balyk" was established in order to implement the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, according to which, by September 2015, on the sea coast of the Balkan velayat in the vicinity of the administrative center of the Turkmenbashi etrap, was built and put into operation a production complex for the artificial breeding of sturgeon fish, the extraction of black caviar and the processing of Caspian and other fish species. The production complex of OJSC "Hazar Balyk" is located on the shore of the Caspian Sea, near the protected area. It includes an aquaculture farm and a fish processing plant.

The products manufactured at the "Kenar" enterprise meet the world quality standards and, consequently, meet all the requirements of consumers. Products are produced both lightly salted and cold smoked. The finished product is packaged in containers and delivered to the store shelves at affordable prices.
